Spring Break / Birds

While there are no kids at Cate School during spring break, there are however an above average number of birds. Today with the slower workload, I decided to take the school’s Tamron 28-300 and work on my “Bird Portfolio”.

The Landlord’s

Although my landlords can be quite odd at times, I was greatful for their generosity today. Larry installed a TV mount for me, and his wife Nina gave me some limes. And it just so happened to be golden hour in my apartment, which is the best this time of the year.

Adam Caira: A Photojournalist

After spending the majority of last year (and his life) in Vermont, Adam Caira comes back to California to work a photo editing job at The LA Times for the next three months. This good friend of mine is one of those people who constantly keeps me inspired as a photographer, and keeps me thinking about how to tell a story. He is, by definition, a photojournalist. So today when he offered to help me change my car battery, I took some photos, just for fun. Here is “the story”.
